The cramping is completely normal. It's essentially your body getting used to you being pregnant and preparing for your baby. The cramping will likely be off and on for a couple weeks. It will also likely return when you're supposed to get your period for the first 2 or 3 times. Mine did. Your body is just getting used to the baby and the idea of not having a menstrual period.

Lots of women DO experience cramping during pregnancy that feels a bit like mild menstrual cramps.  Most likely all is fine.  As to how long it lasts, it can vary from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.  If the pains increase or you being spotting, give your doc a call.  But otherwise, try to relax.  Tylenol can be taken during pregnancy and helps a bit.  good luck and congratulations
