Cramps

I'm 35 + 3 .. I'm having menstrual like cramps coming at irregular intervals , all under 10 minutes with Braxton hicks in between .. I drank water & laid on my left side which stopped the Braxton hicks but the cramps still come & go .. They aren't too bad , but seem to have gotten slightly more noticeable .. What is this ? I'm a ftm by the way

That cramping can be early labor! With baby 2 I kept having annoying cramping and braxton hicks every 8-10 minutes.  I did all the usual drink water lay down take Tylenol. Hubby made me go to the dr, turned out to be contractions. If they continue u might want to at least call ur dr they may want u checked to be safe!  Good luck.

I'm 34 +1 and having cramps also. It happens on a daily basis, but isn't constant so I'm not too concerned just yet. It is my 3rd baby though and I never experienced cramping with my other 2 so I don't know what it is exactly.

I went to l&d a few week ago for the same thing. I'm 35 weeks now and I had a similar experience again today. My dr wasn't concerned that it was labor though.

Thanx I'll definitely try the heating pad .. As soon as I got up , the Braxton hicks picked up during the cramps again

ive been having cramping with pain in my ribs and my dr checked me for pre term labor... im not in labor so they associated it with my ligaments stretching. and my ribs separating. the stretching doesnt feel the same as it did in the begining tho so idk. mention it to your dr the next time you go in but you can always use a heating pad on low to ttry to ease the cramps
