I was supose to be induced today, but got bumped for a more serious case. Our hospital is small so they only induce 1 a day to allow for other women coming in labour. I was gestational diabetic but recently stopped taking insulin which means my placenta is deterioating. They admitted me on saturday, but i am allowed to come home on passes for the dya/night. Today's u/s showed low fluid and the Dr couldn't wake him up but he was doing practice breathing movements and when they monitered me a hour before he was moving too much. i doubt i will be bumped cause he didn't tell me to call ahead just to come ("or feel free to go into labour tonight"), the plus is I will be getting the Dr i wanted to deliver--we just get whoever is on call. So hopefully his time tomorrow i will be holding my baby boy....who is going to be big, i'm 38 weeks and he's measuring 40w

Awww! That stinks! You'll be holding him soon!! =) Hopefully you will go into labor on your own! Good luck!!

That *****!! I was hoping you would go on your own or at least be holding your baby by now:(  I will pray that you go on your own today!! Are you walking alot??
