the movements i started to feel first were more like gas. here soon you will be able to determine the difference between gas and the baby, even though the baby will still feel some what like gas atleast until your 20th week or so. i would always tell myself, "well that was either gas, or the baby!" when i first actually started to feel my baby, it was only for like a minute out of the day. very diappointing! but now shes getting pretty violent and i can watch my belly bounce around! i love it!
Thanks everyone, I cant wait to know that when i feel something i can smile and know its my baby, :) Everyone trys to say that it goes by so fast, but not for us, we cant wait for our baby to get here.. The DD is two weeks after my birthday, so i wonder if i will have an amazing birthday present and our baby be born on my birthday lol.. I am hoping that by 18-19 weeks i wil be able to say, that i know the baby is moving.. Thank you all so much!! And congrats to everyone whos expecting :)
This is my first baby, too. I felt him move at 15 weeks. It was by chance. I had just drank ice cold chocolate milk and was lying on my side trying to go to sleep... It took a while longer to feel the actual movement, but I'd say around 19 weeks I started feeling what I know was my baby. Now I feel him ALL the time and most of the time it hurts lol I'm 30 weeks pregnant :)
i didnt feel my baby move til i was 22 weeks
I'm thin too, with my first pregnancy I was 16 weeks when I first felt my son move for the first time, with my daughter 15 weeks and this time with twins 11 weeks! But I think it's only because I knew what it felt like. It did feel like gas but I kind of had that "is that the babies?" thought and a couple days later felt it again and knew for sure it was the babies! My bet is that that bubble feeling that you've been feeling is your baby! The feelings definately get stronger but now (I'm 17 weeks) it does feel like little bubbles, sometimes it feels like little elbows or knees sliding across in a tiny little spot. Last week I felt one or maybe both (because it was pretty big) rolling over. They moved so much that it pulled a muscle in the front of my stomach, it still hurts! Good luck on the rest of your pregnancy - enjoy it! and Congrats I think you've felt your baby!
