Cutting grass

okay so I was asked to cut grass by my parents & it's 4 acres not bumpy just easy going on a dixie choppper. Like I said no bumps & i m not going to be going fast. Do you think it can hurt the baby at all? I asked the doctor 2 weeks ago if I could ride 4 wheelers & she said yes it would be fine just no jumping lol

I agree with joy. I love getting out and mowing our grass. I pump up the ipod and use it as a workout. + thees nothing better than the smell of freshly cut grass..

Yup! It's good to be active and continue your regular activities. Just listen your body and if feel breathless or like your heart is racing or just getting tired or achy - then stop. Otherwise you're good to go. Pregnant women are not made of spun glass; irritates me when people treat me as such! I just mowed our lawn yesterday! We don't have that much land but it felt GOOD. And it can help prepare your body for labor later. REALLY good to stay active.

Yea, I think it's perfectly fine! A lot of people think just because you are pregnant, you have to stop your life or the things you used to do on a normal basis. You of course need to be careful and not overdo things, but unless you are high risk (like me unfortunately!!) you can keep doing everything you were doing. And yea, once you get closer to your due date, bumpy rides are a great way to get things started. lol

As long as you're not out mowing in extreme heat or anything, I wouldn't see why it would be a problem.  And hey, when you do get closer to your due date - bumping along in a 4 wheeler may help throw you into labor. :-)  My friend swears driving down a bumpy road made her go in to labor - LOL
