D&C

Has anyone here ever had the D&C procedure done after a miscarriage?  Did You become pregnant again? How soon after?

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of april last year and they didn't want to do a D&C unless necessary. My doctor wanted me to pass it naturally, then in the middle of april I started losing alot of blood and clots(worst experience emotionally in my life) I was taken to the hospital and they did it that day. I waited a little while for myself to heal I didn't want it to happen again. Now I'm 20+5 with a little girl and can't wait to meet her in June :)

Oh Okay Thanks for responding. I lost twins on the 22nd and had the D&C on the 25th just wondering how long should we wait to try again.

I had to have one in May, waited and used protection per the doctors request until I had a normal cycle, which came in June, found out I was expecting again in August, and now 28 weeks with a healthy pregnancy

I had one in June and got pregnant in November
