In some places, technicians aren't allowed to reveal any information, so the information is passed on to the doctors to review beforehand. This is not unusual or uncommon. I'm sure the technician was just following the rules. Also, you do understand that the anatomy ultrasound is not solely based on finding out the gender right? They have to check everything out to make sure things are developing properly. Your baby may have been the uncooperative one if they were having trouble getting a good look at the genitalia. It's not always the technicians fault. At least they tried. Some techs will give up after a while and you're left with not knowing the gender at all or til you get another ultrasound.
Nor have I, my son and daughter are 6 years apart, i was told with them, but not when this one. I also have a strong feeling its a boy. Had the feeling my son was a boy and my daughter was a girl too lol!
Second baby for me and completely different office for my scan and both places the nurses told me. I've never heard of that, anything else yes they tell the dr and the doctor then comes in and explains everything else, but revealing the gender? I've never of heard of that having to be get private
Oh they got all the measurments, i drank some orange juice and they got the gender after, all three of my kids have been stubborn, and they are allowed... my bestfriend went a week before i did. Same place, same thing happened baby was stubborn, but they told her the gender.
I was told at my appointment right there. You should make a complaint
