Dehydration

So about a week ago I had been having severe nausea and vomiting to the point I had to go to the er and get iv fluids. They prescribed me some nausea meds to take home with me. since then I have not gotten any better. I can barely eat or drink anything without getting sick. I am in the middle of trying to apply for medicaid but don't have an appt til next tues. I havnt been to a doc yet because of the insurance issue. My regular gp won't see me cuz I've racked up to many bills.with them. Its getting to the point where I can barely get out of bed all day. I know im dehydrated but not sure what to do. I don't want to keep going to er if my medicaid doesn't get approved I will have no way to pay it. Any suggestions?

I agree 100% with Trying.

You may just have to rack up some more ER bills..it's either that or put you and baby's health at risk. You NEED to get some IV fluids and nausea medicine, and you need to do it TODAY. So if you can't get in with an OB because of insurance issues, your only option would be to go to the ER.

I don't think you have many options here...you must be seen. I'm sorry, I know medical bills are horrible but much better that than risk baby's health and your own. When you're there, ask them to refer you to an OB or GP who will see you on payment plan or pro bono until you get your insurance sorted out...you cannot continue like this sweetie, it's not healthy.

If you dehydrate and are pregnant you can go into preterm labor.  Dehydration causes contractions and u could lose ur baby if its not treated.   Please see a dr.  Good luck.
