Dental Work

Has anyone got dental work done while pregnant? I know it is best to get it in the second trimester and the will use minimal local anesthetic but it still makes me nervous. I have a bad tooth ache and I am almost positive it is a cavity but I am nervous to get work done.

Okay thank you ladies! I just hope it is nothing more than a cavity. I would hate to get a root canal

I had tons of dental work done while I was pregnant with my son. I just had to wait until I was in my second trimester but then it was fine to get it done. They gave me extra protection for the xray but that's all. My son is super healthy too so there was no damage

I'm getting a cavity filled a little after 28 weeks. They told me it's fine. You just can't have any teeth pulled after the second trimester
