I'm a belly sleeper too.
I'm 5months and 3 days and I still do it.
I just can't sleep all the way on my belly, I kinda pull my knee up to the side so one leg is straight and the other is bent with my knee up towards the rest of me so I'm at an angle.
It's the only way I can sleep comfortably because I can't stand sleeping on my back or sides after a while.
As long as it's not hurting you, you shouldn't really worry.
Try what I do you might even find it more comfortable.
Atlantisea~ Sounds like it. I didn't truly begin showing until about 3 months. It is uncomfortable to lay on my stomach too.
I have also found that from anywhere between 1-2 months I become uncomfortable on my stomach. If I try to persist, at first I just feel a bit squeamish and sick, then I start getting pains... I also show very early (between 1-3 months). Maybe that has something to do with it??
i found that right from the begining i couldn't sleep on mine. it felt strange and i had a few pains if i did. i guess it's different for all
They say when you hit about 20weeks you should begin trying to sleep on your side (not your back)... but if you wake up on your back or belly it's not a bad thing.
Your body will notice when it gets uncomfortable sleeping on a "beachball" of a tummy.
Sometimes I still wake up on my back, but I'll have only been sleeping like that for an hour or so... then my arms go numb. lol
I was told that sleeping on your stomach is fine until it because uncomfortable for you... that was probably about 7 months for me.
im 13 weeks 4 days and i cant sleep on my stomach its so uncomfortable
You'll know, cuz it will get really uncomfortable :). I think it was around 5 months when I couldn't sleep on my belly anymore.
