Diabetes Test

So I have my diabetes /glucose test tomorrow and I don't know what to expectmy sister already told me I won't be able to drink orange soda for a while is there anything else I should be worried about

When I had my gtt I had to fast from 9pm the night before. I only could have water, when I got to the hospital I had to drink a sugar drink then they took my bloodS and I had to wait an hour and they took my bloods again and had to wait another hour and they took my bloods for the last time

It's not as bad as people make it seems, I promise. It's over fast too

Well idk what your sister is saying about orange soda but anyway they will give u about a cup of some nasty sugary drink that tastes kinda like sunkissed soda but the nasty version lol. Then they'll have u wait for about an hour I believe.  while u wait you'll wanna drink water so bad but u can't :(  after the time has gone by they'll do your blood work and wallah that's about it. Nothing crazy. Then u could have all the water u want lol

DONT worry! It makes it worse I actually got a fruit punch flavored drink not even orange :) I did the one hour and the three hour worst part is the wait if no one is there to talk to! Only other thing would be if you don't do blood drawing that ***** but it really isn't as bad as people say it is:)  good luck momma!
