I would stack up on whatever you feel you need and if the baby doesn't use all the newborn diapers you can always return them for a different size! So don't worry about feeling like you have too many diapers of one size

I did the whole stack prior to my son being born and I only had two boxes of newborns and only used 1! I would say get one box of newborns and at least 2 boxes of all other sizes. My son was also 8lbs1oz when he was born so he was on the bigger side

Babies are usually in newborn diapers for like.. a pack or two. If you do stock up, get size 1s and 2s. But I wouldnot stock up a whole lot since your baby could be allergic to a brand. You could always take them back to exchange if needed.
I got a big box of Huggies in size 1. And two packs of newborn swaddlers.

Babies grow out of newborns quickly so I would not stack up on too many of them
