3D/ 4d sonogram question

Has anyone ever had a 3D sonogram done? If so how early can they detect the sex being a 3D? I know it's up to your baby and the position it's in but I'm 14 weeks and dying to know the sex! Thanks!!

My doctor actually said it's best to check the gender with 2D between 17-21 weeks and to wait to get the 3D between 24-32 weeks (because the babies look much cuter with some baby fat and look a little more developed,  haha!)

I got mine at 15 weeks. Im 24 weeks now &im having a girl.  When i did get it tho, i wasn't sure to believe it or not but then when i got my regular one at 21 weeks it was for sure the 3D/4D was right.

I had my 4d sonography at 19th week and 6 days....The doc says best time to get it done is between 18th to 20th week...Al  though my radiologist dint disclose the gender....I feel personally dat u shud not even try to know it as surprises are always gud..

Your best bet is get one at 16 weeks it should be really accurate then
