Diclectin and Birth Defects

I just got prescribed Diclectin and had some concerns. I am being given it because I am nauseous all day. Not sick just nauseous that it makes me not want to eat or drink much.

My concern is does it cause birth defects? During the last miscarriage one of the nurses said there was a drug given to pregnant women years back and it is linked to causes of Septums of the uterus, which I have.

I just want this baby to be healthy and do not want to take anything that may cause issues.

Thanks in advanced.

thank you for the response. Just after 2 miscarriages you start to look at everything and this 3rd pregnancy happened a lot quicker then the last one after the 1st miscarriage (2nd pregnancy took a year and this one took about 5-6 months) so just want to double check.

Diclectin is harmless to baby I can't remember what the drug was that caused many birth defects and such was from the 80 and is no longer on the market. I lived off diclectin for two pregnancies (morning sickness up till day they were born) and they both are health.
