I practically bathed in palmers cocobutter during my entire pregnancy without a stretch mark to be seen. Low and behold AFTER the birth - there they were!!!!!!!! Under my bellybutton one on each side!! Ughh, just knew I couldn't get away without getting any!!!
i am COVERED in stretchmarks. i got most of them from my first pregnancy. i really didnt think that is was possible to get any more... i was wrong.lol i have them on my boobs, on my upper arms by my armpits, between my legs, and of course.... all over my stomach. i look like i was attacked by some animal with nasty claws!! but its all worth it for my kids.
No stretch marks but I used the belly cream stuff from the moment I had a hpt. Not sure if that was the reason but I will stick to it anyway. Genetics were not on my side... my mom had 6 kids and boy did we do some damage!! She loves us anyway!!
Babydreams9 - that little one was not so little. 11 lbs. 1 oz - what healthy baby - you are so lucky.
I would gladly take stretch marks if it meant I could have another little one...
Ugh, I agree that the saggy belly skin is the worst. DS thinks it is funny to lift my shirt up and smack it. Stretchmarks I can live with but the flap I cannot.
My baby weighed 11 lbs. 1 oz at birth.... it would have been a miracle to have no stretch marks!! Alas, I have a TON of them. I started getting them at 30 weeks.
Oh I thought of something that I have heard a bunch of guys have said.. Most guys really like the stretchmarks because it's like "battle wounds" ahaha This one guy told me, it just tells a lot about to woman and her kids! :) So that's a positive side to look at it, I suppose!
