diet doesnt really matter, you should drink caffeine free. (the caffeine is what matters). but i drink regular pop, atleast3 a day which isnt really good but if i dont i get migraines. dont worry too much about it, just make sure you drink plenty of water.

Diet soda has aspertame in it which is a chemical that can cause cancer, my favorite soda is diet coke, but i try to only have 1 or 2 a week, and drink other caffeinated drinks that aren't diet so I dont get migraines from my caffeine addiction lol, I'm addicted to energy drinks but avoid them often while pregnant.
Sugar isnt the matter lol no limit unless you have gestational diabetes, but make sure you eat healthy too and keep caffeine to under 300 mgs a day my pregnancy book says
