Different Results from Pregnancy Tests

My daughter has taken three positive urine tests. The hospital took two negative ones, but her blood test came back positive! What could this be?

Thank you so much for your help. It seems she has miscarried. all is well now. Dr is testing hormone & thyroid levels to check all is well.

Ultrasound shows nothing. Going for another blood test tomorrow. Then the hospital dr rings & says nurse made a mistake & test results were preliminary & she is not pregnant. Not sure what to make of the whole thing. Still going for blood test & then back to our normal dr!!

Thanks for your encouragement! Whilst this is a very much unplanned pregnancy she has started to plan and think around a baby. It is such a rollercoaster ride!!

Thanks for that. Dr warned of the possibility of an ectopic (although she didn't think it was the case) or an unviable pregnancy. Dr still hopeful of a healthy pregnancy.

She is having a scan tomorrow.

That is strange.being 9 weeks pregnant.she should have plenty of hormones in her urine.what tests are they going to do now,have they scanned her.

The hospital ran the test again the following morning with another negative results; however, the blood test taken the night before was positive. she thinks she is around 9 weeks pregnant.

Its possible that when the hospital took the urine tests,her urine was diluted,so couldnt pick up a positive.maybe she is still in the early stages.
