Discharge, mucus plug or waters breaking

Hi, just wondering what peoples experiences are.. I'm 34 weeks pg with my first.. And she's fully engaged now, has been for 6 weeks.. And although everynight Iv been having all sorts of different pains, menstrual cramps, pelvis pains, odd contractions nothing has stayed continuous..

Lastnight I was having stabbing pains in my cervix, slept through them fine though, and today the stabbing pains were there still, although I was running up and down the stairs doing a number of chores so again just thought pressure of her head, however I suddenly felt a big trickle running down in-between my legs, then my knickers felt quite wet.. I checked in the bathroom and when wiping discharge just seemed to be coming away continuously.. Looks like (sorry tmi) mucusy snot mixed with egg White, and a lot of it!!! Anyone have any insight as to what this is? It just seems to be too much to be seen as discharge, and no blood so not thinking it's my mucus plug... Could it be slow release of my waters breaking?..

Iv been in the bath after it happened, and now im out and walking around, Iv been having menstrual pains, kinda feel like AF is gunna come..

B careful cuz if your water did break you can get infection then have to have a c section

Don't really want to get intouch with my midwife yet as Iv been intouch with a lot of other things recently! Need to see if I get more signs x

Iv not really had any more since earlier, just feel like I'm going to feel a gush, but haven't! I'm used to her head being low since she has been fully engaged for 6 weeks, just I feel soooo much more pressure down there, and for the past hour having painful menstrual pains.. But had these a week ago one night (sooooo bad) so don't know if it's just nothing! So hard to know whether this is all normal or actually very close to labour with this being my first!

Go get checked happen to me with my last pregnancy a few hours after that happen to me I went into labor

It definitely never hurts to check with your doc. It sounds to me like its just alot of discharge..... When I lost my mucas plug it was more of a booger consistancy and thick, and I lost it all over a couple of days. If it continues tho I would definitely give your doc a call

It could just be your mucous plug, but if your not sure if your water broke you should go get check to make sure... i found the start of contractions to be like really mean menstral cramps... either way because you are 34 weeks you should get checked... its a little early if it is true labor begining... and it will give you peace of mind if it was jsut the mucous plug... good luck :)
