Displacement of the uterus - Please help worry Dad

today we went for or 9 weeks and the doctor told my wife that the uterus was retroversion???? Our baby had a heart beat of 164. I'm sorry but I'm american living here in Taiwan and kind of scared of this because really not understand.

My husband is 44, he was 36 when our first daughter was born.  We have 2 healthy girls and as far as we can tell, our third is healthy as well.

question....If you are older will this effect your sperm? birth defects? I read older people(39) will have high rates.

I also have a retroverted or tipped uterus and can assure you, you have absolutely nothing to worry about :) its completely normal and about 1 in every 5 women have it. It normally corrects itself anywhere from 10-12 weeks when the uterus rises out of the pelvis.

I looked it up and it said a retroverted uterus does not cause any pregnancy complications except the baby showing later on an ultrasound. Doesn't sound like a big problem.

I have a retroverted uterus and it doesn't have any implications during the pregnancy.  She may take a little longer to show, but as she gets bigger it will flip forward.  I have 2 healthy children and am 21 weeks with my third.

she only get sick in the morning but the uterus(backword) is the one I'm scared of. Have you ever hear about this?

U mentioned yr wife gets sick. I hv drunk ginger ale and my ob prescribed Zofran for nausea. It really helped
