has any one ever hear of a false positive ?

So i was supposed to get my period on the 26th of April. I took two pregnancy test, both First Response. I took one on the 29th during the evening after i got home from work. I took the other one on the 30th in the morning. Both where positive. My only concern is they had one dark line and one light one. I read the instructions and i know it says regardless of the line color, if there is two line you are pregnant.   I am really excited, however i just dont feel pregnant yet. I dont know if it just hasnt sunk in yet or what. I have to my boobs and nipples are rediculously sore.  Still no sign of a period.

Im just curious, if the brand has ever given anyone a false positive before.?

Also, i am completely new to this. I have no idea what to do next.

Make a docs appointment. They'll have you pee in a cup and you'll know in a few minutes, no false positives there lol

ReneeM1987 Wow, it really tells you the weeks ?! How much does it cost. Im getting excited thinking about it. I used one of thoes due date calculator's online and according to my last period i am anout four weeks. Im not to sure how accurate that is.

You definitely shouldn't worry about symptoms. I found out I was pregnant at 21 weeks, I didn't have any symptoms at all .

That's what happened to me,  you are pregnant, its just that you took the test too early for the line to be darker.  In a couple days or so buy clear blue digital where it tells you the weeks, when I took that itn said I was 2-3 weeks.  Congratulations =)

I had 3 stronglines then the fourth was faint but I'm almost 13 weeks and got to hear the heartbeat=))

My first test was one clear line and a faint line I waited few more days and did another one lines was stronger make a doctor's appointment and good luck :)

False positives are relatively unheard of. You're pretty much safe. Take a test at your doctors to ease your mind :)
