Yup. Even taking an OTC pain medication has complications and risks. You have to always look at everything and see what those mean to you.

I tried the IUD and sometimes during sex my partner would complain that he could feel it, I must add that during my periods the periods pains would be VERY painful so after much complaining I took out the IUD and when I had to take it out there were complications..
The day I inserted it, I also recommended it to my friend, and she had a miscarriage whilst using it..
So I wouldn't recommend it personally.

ALL hormonal birth controls have the potential for weight gain - look into the Paragard, but bear in mind this too can cause negatives such as more intense menstural cramping and heavier periods.

According to my doctor it doesn't make u gain weight. However she said there's other risk to consider such as pain, or pregnancy than can result in miscarriage. So far I've been considering it, either that or the pill
