Does this sound like a stripper name?

I want to name my daughter Arabella Electra.  Everyone says it sounds like a stripper name.  What do you ladies think?

I think Arabella is a beautiful name. As for Electra, I know a stripper who uses that as her stage name, so there is some validity to people thinking it sounds stripperish. But hey, it's your baby! All that matters is that YOU like it :)

If you don't name your baby what you originally want to name him or her you'll regret...i had a named picked out for my first daughter and everyone said it sounded like a stripper name. So i chose a different name, and 12yrs later i still think of that name.
So it may sound like a stripper name to others but you are the one naming your child and that's all that matters. And later on your babies life, she may not like it or like it, either way she can change it later on if she wants too.

The name is so pretty. :) I think it's a great name. You should definately keep it. And if it does affect your child in school with other kids, I doubt it will, just remember it's not your fault at all. Kids are a product of their environment and if they aren't taught any better, they won't do any better.

I think the whole name is absolutely beautiful and unique!!! I personally don't like when the names end in the same sound, but this sounds perfectly together :)))

I just really like the name Electra.  I feel like the only reason it sounds like a stripper name is because people 's first thought is usually Carmen Electra who is known as a sex icon. Idk even then I still am going to name her Arabella Electra.  I think they sound good together and they're both pretty names.  I hope my daughter agrees one day lol.

I know a stripper named Electra, but I love the name!!! I considered it as a first name, but my bf had named a baby my chinchilla had a few years ago Electra so I thought it'd be weird. But who cares what other people think its your baby! And the name is adorable

I love arabella ,  first seen it when ↑↑ allocate posted it before and straight away I thought it was an awesome name.

I think its super pretty ... I however personally think the electra bit isn't pretty and takes away from how pretty arabella is as a name.  I'd agree on reconsidering the second name.

I didn't catch an attitude with you nor did I knock your opinion. I asked a simple question as to why you felt the name Arabella would affect her in life. And I also basically stated my opinion on how I felt Electra wouldn't affect her because middle names aren't really given too much notice anyways. So to say grow up...I indeed an grown up. I just wanted to know why u felt that way but if this is going to turn into some crazy drama then don't feel the need to answer. I'm not for the drama

Your comment mentioned it sounded stripper and I take "stripper" as unprofessional. No one needs too grow up were giving our opinion as you were. Calm yourself

Wow okay. I never said they were unpreofessional. Or life altering lmao. Just to think about it. Geez. Just gave my opinion. Thats why SHE asked, I am sure ultimately she will choose what she thinks is good for her baby. Grow up.

@Mrs_English2 how is Arabella going to affect her in life? Electra is a middle name and most applications for school, work, etc. only ask for a middle initial if they ask for anything in the middle name at all.

I don't see how Arabella would be hard to live with.  It's a pretty normal name that schools, colleges, and businesses wouldn't bat an eye at.

I just like the name Electra because it is pretty and unique.  It's also the name of a princess in Greek mythology

I think Electra is a very unique name and doesn't sound like a hooked or stripper name.
