GBS 33 weeks pregnant?!

I just found out i have group B strep im 33 weeks pregnant what does this mean and is it bad?...,worried!.

I got tested threw out my pregnancy because me being high risk and my daugther was in the neonatal natual unit for 3 days and was given antibotics aswell some women it affects and some women get ill from it I lost my 2. Prem babygirls from it but I wouldn't worry sorry if I scared you but you and baby will be fine

It just means that they will give you iv anti biotics whwn your in labor. Its a normal bacteria that grows on our vagina and anus but can be harmful to baby without iv. Weird that they have tested you so early tho because it can go away in the next 7 weeks. Even if you test positive 2 weeks before due date it can still be gone come labor time. Nothing to worry abiut tho. All the best
