Down syndrome scan..

I have mine in about 5wks ill be 19wks by then. Will they tell me my babies gender? And what all are they gonna do?

One thing I learned from my 1st pregnancy is that the drs.don't really give you much information unless you ask. Don't hesitate to ask questions about things that you have going on, otherwise their like NEXT

Thank you ladies im not to worried about down syndrome. It'll probably hit me the day of test cuz ill be nervous lol and I thought they would tell me but since my doctor didn't mention it I needed to ask.

The blood work together with your ultra sound will determine weather their is down syndrome. Don't let the test scare you, its very unlikely. And yes, a 19 week ultra sound will tell you the gender. And a few days after that you should also feel the first movements

I had my scan at 13w so they did not tell me the gender but at 19w im assuming they will for u. For me it was an us and the tech just told me everything looked good. They ck for fluid levels behind the neck. She told me the safe range (which i cnt remember sorry) and mine was way below. Just waiting on blood wrk results as second part of test :)
