Dr problems

Today I had to cancel my dr appointment and when I asked when I could reschedule it for They gave me one option and said if I didn't take that I couldn't be seem for ANOTHER month. I feel like I should be seen more and I feel like my dr does not make me feel important. What should i do?

Thank you all for your advice. I may be looking into getting a new dr, the only problem is I'd have to travel an hour from my home for the next available obgyn or family physician.

If you're not 32 weeks or more you shouldn't need to be seen more than once per month unless you are high risk.
Since younger fetuses don't need as much monitoring as when they they're in the last trimester.

Why do you need to see your Dr that often?

I would check if your doctor is specifically for pregnant ladies or if she attends children as well. This is a factor because it means they see pregnant ladies and children and that means less wiggle room and attention for you. I would also recommend switching doctors find a doctor that delivers to the hospital you want and go from there. I will be switching my doctor because 1 she does not deliver to the hospital I want and secondly my doctors office is a joke!

Or your doctor's office could be fully booked and only had the one availability...doctors are busy people too.
