Dry baby skin?

My daughter is a month and a half and has very dry skin .. Very flakey is there anything I can do?

My brother had very dry feet, we rubbed nipple creme on it and it took care of it

I noe.it sounds weird but for atleast a week.put her sunscreen. It truly works trust me her skin will be beautiful i use it on my skin and ima use it on my sons i have super dry skin so. I had bought all these lotions and products they worjed for a bit but it didnt last so.now i only put sunscreen. And my skin is soft and nice i found out about sunscreen when i woukd work outside during the summer i started getting bumps and a rash i learned i was allergic to the sun and so i used it with a week it was gone my skin was smooth then i moved to Indiana from California abd i wasnt use to the winter so my skin started to crack and bleed i tried all these lotions then i remembered watt sunscreen did for me during the summer so i was like y not and right away my skin healed and it was nice n smooth started using ut ever since and my skin is still soft

That's totally normal. My baby is 3 months and still has that on her scalp. Don't put any creams on it. Newborn rashes and dry skin go away on there own usually
