It's just a pregnancy thing. You might be able to try Witch Hazel if it is safe during pregnancy. I always found cocoa butter to help me. Yes, moisturizing can help acne!!! I'll find you some proof if you don't believe me, lol! ;-Þ
I've been using Neutrogena Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish face wash for I don't know how long and I LOVE IT. It does contain Salicylic Acid and I had NO IDEA until today that you're not suppose to use it when you're pregnant. My lil boy came out just fine but after reading that I don't think I want to risk it this time if it true. But I'm still unsure of it....
OOOH and I also use a moisturizer that contails LOTS of vitamin E in it. It's VERY good for your skin.
sorry for my typo...I'm a lil bit sleepy right now and my eyes are starting to blur on me...LOL
Ahhhhhhhhh... well I posted some sites but the MedHelp Moderator took them down (yes we have a mystery moderator---I even asked MH about moderating and they told me they hired someone---posters beware!!!).
Basically acne can be caused by dehydration of the skin. So if you hydrate with moisturizer and drink plenty of water, it can help in that department!
I had perfect skin until I got pregant. I know that proactiv made it worse but the clean and clear acne kit really helped. My skin broke out everywhere-my face, chest, back. My baby is already 4 months and my acne JUST cleared up. I am still dealing with a little bit but for the most part it is gone and now I am just dealing with all of the scars that it left behind. I am using the Neutragena acne mark fading cream. It is a small blue bottle that costs about 14 dollars. It smells really bad but it is seriously clearing up all of my scars and it came highly recommended by a friend that used to have acne. Good luck and don;t get discouraged. I know it can become very depressing but it is worth it for the baby. GOOD LUCK!
