Its not hard. It took my son about a week to get over it. Its just most parents give up after one night of the child throwing a fit for not having one. As long as you don't give in it's not so bad.
I like pacifiers. Better than their thumb and also help reduce the risk of sids. But like others said nothing more irritating than a child walking around with a binky or bottle in their mouth mouth at point it needs taken away lol.
My daughter wouldn't even take one. My son did for the first year. It definitely soothed him.
Sorry ladies im from Australia i totally didnt realise !lol yeah i was talking about a Pacifier :) i like the idea of having one just wasnt sure if it would be hard to take off the child before she got to old. Im due on 7 Days :)
I think there grate it helps keep them from sucking there thumb and helps there teeth in the future
Yes I'm from the us as well and never heard of them being called "dummies" I think they are okay. It helps them. But yes I think when they start talking is when it needs to be gone.
I am from the us and have never heard of it being called a dummie. Nuk paciey binky. But yes I love them they help soothe a baby. they only become addicted to them if the parent is lazy and does not work with the child
Well if it is a pacifier then I love them. But I hate hate hate when people have their kids using them when they're older I think it looks ridiculous. With my first the second he took his first step after the excitement I threw all his pacifiers away. And I stopped letting him use bottles. I hate seeing kids walking with bottles too.
Yeah I figured it meant pacifier but I want to make sure.
Not everyone on here is from the U.S I believe a dummie is a pacifier
Im also curious as to what is a dummie..
