Dying/bleaching your hair

Hi I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I've been dying to dye my hair , I've heard it's safe as long as you're in your second trimester and I don't go back to the doctor till March 13 so I was curious if anyone could help!?
Thanks(:

I burned my scalp with bleach lol. And when I dyed it to the color I would have wanted it did not get it at all! Definitely true when they say when you're pregnant the color won't stay or look the same.

Use a colour that does not have ammonia and nothing that is a bleach unless it is foiled and not touching the scalp, your roots go straight to your blood stream. So a semi permanent would be your best best and that can go on the roots since they are ammonia free but double check with the stylist. My mom is a colour tech /hair dresser and has been for 37 years, I've learned a few things =]

Completely safe. It used to be classed as unsafe many years ago but hair dye has changed so much since then! The only thing is, due to your raging hormones etc, there is no guarantee whether your hair will dye as normal

Yeah well ventilated area, just remember the color may come out completely different because of all the hormones. I usually dye mine a darkish red color and it came out kinda funky. Lol.
