EATING PLACENTA!

How do you mommies feel about eating your placenta,I've read ,googled it,and even you tubedpeople eating the placenta there is very good health benefits on eating it.but that is something that I wouldn't be able to do.like what lol

Its an organ from your own body. In my eyes it kinda seems like a weird form of cannibalism.

I have a couple of friends who are doulas, they will encapsulate the placenta (dry it, pulverize it into powder, then put it in medicine capsules) for clients who want it done. They say it has tons of health benefits and it's just like taking any other pill just better for you. Not sure what the cost is... that might be a preventing factor for me but I haven't looked into it too closely yet.

Yes that lady made a shake out of it on YouTube and I was just to through... I'll pass on that healthy benefits and stick to fruits and veggies

I personally always said I wanted to try it because I learned about it at a young age and was told the benefits but as I get older and stray away from the culture I don't think I will

I surely wouldn't want to personally try it unless it in tbe tablet form lol yet iam still thinking about it. As well as some other benefits from delay cord clamping.there are a couple things people are doing now a days its up to you to see if you are truelly capable of doing it :) tablet form doesn't seem so bad.

Yes this one girl on YouTube blended hers into a shake I was gagging watching it,. That is someone Idont  think I'll ever be into that.,,I'm all for being healthy but I'll pass,..

My brother and his wife got them made into tablets they lived in dubai at the time. he tried talking me into it but its not something im to keen on lol my partner is Maori so he buried it under a tree :) eating your placenta is only a new thing in New Zealand and not many people do it
