ER last night

So ive posted about my back pain a few times, and little bits of random fluid that drip out randomly.

Yesterday I had a contraction at lunch. Not big but when it happened I knew. Then again had fluid that just leaked out.

Last night bf and I had sex (just a regular 5min-go since we dont do it a lot w my back hurting.) Normal avg paced missionary. So I go to the bathroom afterward and hear what I assume is some of his sperm like always. Then a heavier plop sound. Go to wipe and I had bright red blood like full on period bleeding only it was thick and snotty too. Stood and saw a clump in the toilet and my heart sunk. I dont want a premature baby at all. I call L&D and the nurse said if theres still blood "in a little bit" then come in. So we stay up an hr, still some blood so we go in. The nurse checked me and said "no youre not having contractions at all you wouldnt be able to be nice or laugh if I said something funny". And she saw how much I was bleeding and said "thats avg bleeding it can happen you didnt need to come in". Pissed me off. But they hooked me up and two hrs later she came in and said "you ARE having contractions".

No baby, gave me a shot for my back pain and said to rest and not be so active. Im having contractions but not timeable or "big", and the nurse checked my cervix and said I was "halfway there but baby was still up there a bit". Not a good night.

We live in arkansas. Bf is from shreveport. I hate shots. Have since I was little and used to be held down. Plus I dont like people behind me with sharp pointy objects. She touched my hip and I jumped and told her she scared me. She laughed and jabbed me with her finger and made me jump again. She thought it was funny til I was in tears. I told bf I will not go back to the hospital til I cant take the pain at all at home any more I dont care whats happening.

that nurse is an ***. thats not something to joke around about or put if off lightly and send you home. praying for you and baby and that baby stays in there a little longer. feel better!

Which hospital did you go to? I see you mentioned Shreveport. I live 45 min from Shreveport....

Thanks mommas :) yeah I got a half dozen box of dunken donuts this morning and told if I cleaned the house today id have a pissed off bf on my hands lol

I knew we werent having baby that night. Just bc I knew the contractions were small and far spread. But I have heard continual bleeding esp after sex could mean placental levels were low or something as simple as I just aggravated my cervix. So I was calm. No sense freaking out if baby was going to come not much would stop it. And usually the nurses ive encountered have been super thorough and understanding. Im trying to give her benefit of the doubt and assume bc I wasnt freaking out and it was midnight that she was being super calm but.... yeah.

Omg I would have smacked the lady and asked for someone else that will actually care and listen to me. Your husband better spoil you and everything just so you can rest up and keep that little one in for as long as possible.

Oh my I probably wouldve felt like smacking her upside the head. People when they dont listen aggravate me. Just because you went to school and got the degree doesnt mean you assume and dont listen.

I told my doctor about pelvic bone pains I was havin and she said no they are just ligament pains because I doubt your hips are spreading yet. It should go away in a few weeks. My next appointment rolls around and she was like oh I guess irs not ligaments.

I hate when they assume things. I had the same thing happen to me at 34weeks went in for discomfort and bleeding. Nurse goes you are not having contractions. Hooked me up the machine and then looked at me like I was crazy. Then she said oh you are having contractions. How are you so calm. My father just laughed and told her I am just like him high pain tolerance. Had three shots to stop contractions it slowed them down but didn't stop them. I was still closed at the time so they sent me home and told me I was one of the rare ones who will have contractions for the remainder of my pregnancy.  That as long as I wasn't dialing there is nothing they can do. Just to take it easy. I hope you are not like me sweet heart. Take it easy get rest. And remember you know your body and what is not normal for your self. Hopefully your lo stays put for a while longer!

Thanks mommas. She was more concerned about talking to my bf (hes cajun so his accent gets attention) about her husband getting back from shreveport and how men like him dont exist anymore than she was about paying attention. When I snapped at her she said "is someone getting an attitude with me"??. BUT I was scared when I saw the blood. You hear about a bloody show but something realistic hits home when you see it yourself.

Thats crazy !!! I hate when doctors and lala don't listen to what your saying. I've had some many issues this pregnancy trying to explain to them what my syptoms are and they just all shove words into my mouth! So frustrating that since 9 weeks I have been telling myself what's up with me. I had no issues with my first pregnancy but this one they seem to think they know exactly what I'm feeling. I hope you and your little bubba are okay! I hope bubba stays in for as long as needed. Rest as much as you can and be safe!

I hate when they say Oh you wouldnt be acting this way if you were contracting.... I got to an 8 with only mild cramping in my stomach. Mine were just my whole belly tensing.
