Its not that serious! Geez. If she grows up not liking them , she does have a choice to take them out! I had mine pierced at 3 months, i didnt really like them once i got older and took them out. Its not like im pissed at my mom for it? I bet they looked cute when i was a baby
Alaina_is_coming... My brother and my nieces mother got my nieces ears pierced when she was 6 months old. She took them out herself when she was 3 because she hated them, she's now 14 and still hates them.
I never heard of anygirl who had their ears pierced and didn't like it. Wishing that her parents never pierced them :|
My mom didn't allow us to pierce our ears until we could legally do it without her permission (ie 18). I disagree with that, too, because she still took away our choice, but I dint think it's unreasonable to wait until a child is ten or older to make that sort of decision and have that responsibility. My husband and I have agreed that if our daughter wants her ears pierced at twelve or older, we'll take her to get it done. Same thing with if we have sons, although my hubby is mute hesitant about that. But I don't think it's fair to have two completely separate rules based solely on gender.
Okay, well in both cases she'd be having something forced upon her when later in life she might decide it just isn't for her - which isn't really fair(imo). But my opinion aside it's each to their own, and as someone rightly said, personal preference.
I could have sworn that religion is 100% more serious than two holes tho !, idk I must be crazy. Good day mommas. LMBOO !
