33 +4/ preemie????

Is anyone around 34 weeks? This is my first baby and I've been having a lot of pressure in my pelvic area and completely uncomfortable! For the past few nights i've had what i think is Braxton hicks to the point of crying..i go to the doctor tmrw but could i be getting close to having my baby? She was 5pounds at my last visit 2 weeks ago and my friend with the same due date had her water break and is in the hospital now

Just because you haven't lost your mucus plug or your water didn't break doesn't mean you can't go into labor. Not everyone woman loses their plug or has their water break on its own! Braxton hicks and pressure and all that uncomfortableness is normal , your baby could just be dropping into position and it's not comfortable being pregnant and close to the end! Keep yourself hydrated and rest! If it gets too intense try a warm bath , laying on your left side and even a massage. Call your doctor for any other concerns or if nothing is helping!

No I have not lost my mucus plug but I had a exam a couple days ago and they said my cervix was thin and soft don't know if that means baby can come sooner or if I'm going to dilate soon or am dilating already.

I had my first child at 34 weeks emergency csection. He weighed 5 pounds and 2 ounces. He was in the NICU for 5 days. He had a hard time breathing at first and he had a feeding tube for the 5 days he was in the NICU.

I'm 34 weeks too and been having the same symptoms. Pain down there as if I'm feeling myself dilate but I doubt you can feel that idk. It just hurts and cramps and BH as well. I think its just our body getting used to the time coming near.
