Early Pregnancy
Hi Ladies,
I took 5 home pregnancy tests that were positive. Two of which were digital yesterday morning. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon to confirm pregnancy. I wasn't really thinking about taking another pee test so I was drinking a lot of water like I always do. My pee sample was very clear...almost like water. My pee test at the doctor's office was negative. I'm hoping it was just all of the water but I am worried. They sent me for a pregnancy blood test and I am waiting on the results. I still feel pregnant.
Anyone else have this happen? What was your outcome?

You probably just watered down the HCG in your urine by drinking a lot of water. This early the HCG is low and that's why they recomend FMU when testing. I'm sure everything will be fine once you get your blood results. Good luck and Congrats!!

Great news! I went from 54 to 1116 in two days. So, look things are moving right along.
Good luck on your next blood work.. I am sure everything will be just fine!! Cant wait to see the increase!
They put me on a natural progesterone called Crinone. It's this lovely vaginal gel that I have to use every night of the first trimester. And they are taking more blood today to make sure everything is okay and progressing. I will let you know what the numbers are.

Happened to me, too. I diluted the HCG in my urine. Doc tests are NOT as sensitive as store bought tests, go figure. Glad to see you got your levels back. You actually want Progesterone to be over 20 so the supplements are good.!
You're pregnant, don't worry about it. Their tests, even though they say are sensitive, I don't think are!! And they don't sit the whole ten min to see if anything shows up, and if there's aren't as sensitive it may very well take every bit of that ten min to show, but they're busy and have ppl to see so at like 30 sec if nothings there they probably pitch em, mark it whatever it is and go on about their way!! I wouldn't worry at all!!! Plus, if you miscarry, that hormone is in your system still, it doesn't drop that fast. Congrats!!!!!
See congrats!!! I'm on progesterone too and I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow! If they gave you prometrium (pill) take it at night as it makes you sleepy!! Are they running your beta's in 48 hours again just to see if everything still looks good and the progesterone is doing it's job?
I'm sure your urine was just too watered down to pic up the HCG. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! When do you think you are due?
It is probably just really early and too much water can lower you HCGs in urine. The blood will tell. I am sure you're pregnant and its very early. I had to get blood tested before I believed it and it was confirmed!!
Good luck to you. I kept taking tests every so often to see the test get darker or show up positive faster than the control line *that is how I knew about my first pregnancy*

Doc's office called and my HCG level is 54 and climbing. They are putting me on progesterone because that level was 13.8. Over 10 is good but they are just being overly cautious. So whew! On with the show.

they clearly say preg...no second guessing...you may just be very early in your preg and all the water you drank water downed your HCG levels...ive also heard that docs tests are not as sensitive as ones we buy over the counter...im sure your blood test will come back positive
