I have a feeling in the next month or so i'm going to be put on bedrest =(

Yesterday, my back was just killing me.  So I took a bath with epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) in it, because that relaxes your muscles and makes swelling go down.  Well, I felt fine for 20 minutes after that bath, and then I had to pick up all my kids toys, while they help me.  I just started feeling overwhelming sick but not like actual sick.  My back started throbbing....And I had to sit down...Got really dizzy, my stomach started hurting...And when I finally got into bed 30 minutes later, when I laid down, I am more then positive I was having contractions, actually had to sleep in a 90 degree position and it more then felt like I was dialting again!

I didn't want to get back up cause my husband advised me to wait till morning to see what happens.  So when I woke up this morning, thanks to my son, at 4 am.  I called the doctors office and my doctor happens to be on call LOL...and he called me back.  Told me that, I should come in today to get checked again.  They will set me up on the monitors to see if i'm having contractions, and if i dialted more.

He said he may do a during the week, I be on bedrest and get up and about on the weekends.  Since that's when my hubby is with me 24/7.  He said that if I happen to be dialated to 5 already, that he may have to go around a different route.  Hopeing i'm not that far dialated already, even though it wouldn't surprise me.  

Just feel like a pile of pooh!

Well, I'm back.  Freaking dialated to 2 now....BOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahaha  He said, well you should feel lucky that you know when you are dialting.  Maybe we can catch me early enough that I can be in the hospital to have my baby!  He doesn't think i'll be in the hospital to give birth, lol he told me to buy a comfy day bed to deliver on LMAO!!

I was having contractions too, lol...They were reading at 80 on the monitor.  It really felt like nothing.  I got tribudalin to stop them.  and he said After my appt on the 24th, i'll be seen every two weeks from here on out.  I may be lucky enough to get ultrasounds every two weeks this time as well.  (I had them every 2 weeks with my son)  Just to keep an eye on my cervix, because they no longer want to check my by hand.  So they don't stretch more.

So other than this cr ap going on, here in WA we have a tropical storm from hawaii hitting us, called the "Pineapple Express"  ahaha ton's of flooding, and ton's of freaking rain and snow in the mountains!  Too bad I can't go snowboard....lol

My doctor just called me again and told me to come in now, so i'm heading off and will be back to update laters.....this blows...  I actually feel worse then last night, shower didn't even help a tad bit.  blah!

Awwww Poor thing! That sounds awful.... and I know how it is to be stuck on bed rest, It S U C K S !! But hey if your feeling that bad, call the doc and see what he thinks.... better to be safe than sorry, especially with your history and all the problems you have been having so far... and with your other little ones! Hope ya feel better

I asked my doctor last time about the cerclage, he he said, with me there'd be no point.  There would be no way to gurantee I make it past 35 weeks.  And they wouldn't take a stitch out till 36 weeks.  And he also said mostly that's for women who have incompentant cervix's.  I don't have that.  I just cook my babies fast.  He said I am truly made to carry babies and deliever with no problems.  

I just don't want bed rest.  I can't stand laying down, because it phsycally kills my back laying on my sides, and they yell at me when I get into a comfy position and don't want to move. Also my hips dislocate while pregnant and laying on my side, it becomes real painful!  

I just don't think I can take it at this moment.  He knows I'm going to struggle with bedreast, since the other boogers I got here.  But what will really get to me, is it strains my husband more because constantly worrying.  Having to be around for my 10 minute shower, making sure i'm not doing something that I shouldn't be doing.  Keeping the kids off of me.  UGH!  Plus if they end up putting me in the dreadful hospital, I wont see my husband or kids, for more than an hour a day.  I'll probably go insane!

It would really stink to be on bedrest so early, but if it's gotta be done for the health of that little one yer carryin' around, then so be it!  But I understand it's gotta be pretty tough when you've already got two kids running around making your life hectic already!!  

I hope you can get something figured out with your doctor ...and like Laura mentioned, maybe you can get a cerclage before it's too late and you're dilated too far!

PLEASE let us know what  the Dr. says today and I am hoping you arent dialating.. Cant they give you meds or I have heard they sometimes stitch women until it's "time" when they have early dialation isues? Uggh. I am so sorry.. Keep us posted!
