What are your experiences?

Hi ladies I bought a yoga ball today to help with dilation and to make sure my son is positioned correctly. Just wondering what your experiences are with a yoga ball? Did it work for you? How long did you do it each day? How did you get optimal use out of it in your opinion? Im 8 days from my due date so I'm looking into ways to prep me for the big day whenever my little one is finally ready.

I was 1 cm dilated at my 37 week checkup then lost my mucus plug or at least a bit of it a few days later. I was having off and on contractions here and there. Then my 38 week checkup doctor said I was no longee dilated. So im trying to get things going... hoping this works. I have the 65cm ball but I think I need the large sized one :/

My baby was already in position when i used it,  and i was induced early so i don't think it helped to kick start labor or anything.  But i used it every time i sat down and at the hospital when i was in active labor. They thought it may have helped my labor progress faster without having to increase the amount of labor dtugs they were giving me. And it helped with my back pain.

I bought a birthing ball and it helped to get my son into position. It also helped when I was laboring at home as it took me from a .5 cm to a whole 5 cm. they are really helpful with taking some of the pressure off during contractions
