Ease my mind

Having a baby boy in March and everything is perfectly fine. Heartbeat is always strong, I feel him move everyday but I cannot for the life of me stop worrying. I had a miscarriage earlier this year at 10 weeks and that's was just about the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Then I hear stories about stillborn close to the number of weeks I am currently at, stories of babies dying within 24 hours of birth and then those lucky people who have had 6 pregnancies and 6 healthy children. I know miscarriages are natural and stillbirths are rare. Is there anything I can do to lessen the worry or is this the end of being at ease.

You could get a heart rate monitor for at home. The really nice ones are hundreds of dollars, but I'm sure there are more affordable ones or you could check eBay or craigslist. Ive never used one at home but I've heard it really helps to ease mom-to-be's minds especially if you've had a miscarriage. That way whenever you feel nervous you can listen to his/her heart beat and check the heart rate. Good luck and I'm sure everything will be fine.
