Could this be labour

I've been contracting for weeks! Been to the hospital 4 times but it always faded away. Went in last night with contractions and lower back pain and loads pressure and I was 2cm dilated and 1/2 cm think.. So they gave me a stretch and sweep... Still getting contractions today more intense with so much more pressure in my cervix and bad lower back pain! Could this be the start? Will I have her soon! I'm 38+5 weeks btw and this my second child!

Make sure you keep track of contractions. Once there 5-7 minutes apart get to the hospital! I had the same thing happen to me and i kept pushing it off and just barely made it to the hospital with my second child. Good luck!
