Hadn't heard of this until today and I just had to laugh. Some of the wives tales about pregnancy have been wild. But this is down right crazy! Hahah (they told me at my 14 week scan my daughter did not have a cleft lip and wasn't going to get one)

Lol ridiculous. I am a superstitious person and even I think this is so stupid. An eclipse is not gonna make your baby deformed haha. Don't worry about it, the more you make yourself believe it the more anxious you'll get, and probably cause something to happen yourself lol.

I had never heard of this before coming on this app... I researched it and it is not based on any scientific facts. .. it is just an old wivestail.

Nothing will happen to your baby because of what you wear or don't wear or carry or use or where you go during an eclipse. We really do live in the 21st century and don't burn witches at the stake anymore. Holding a knife won't injure your unborn fetus. I guarantee you that wearing a safety pin on your clothing will not increase or decrease risk of cleft lip or cleft palate. And birthmarks don't come from the moon.
