Ectopic pregnancy? Miscarriage? HELP!!
On Friday December 15, 2012 I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive, I was very overwhelmed but mostly happy. I was overwhelmed because the day before I had gotten into a car accident, and hit a tree head on and had to be rushed into the ER where they did some head CT scans on me and prescribed me Vicodin. They did ask if there was a chance I was pregnant, I said yes but they went on with the testing. On the 16th and today I had been experiencing horrible period-like pain and have been so nauseous, a ton of pain on my left side, and noticed that my left ovary is a bit swollen, I have been running a low grade fever. My husband's mom is a nurse so she said to keep an eye on my temperature in case of ectopic pregnancy. Although I have been looking online at my symptoms, the top two that I have narrowed down to is the ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage. I do not have bleeding, just in a ton of pain. Anyone have some advice?
My Dr was SURPRISED that I was bleeding with my ectopic...please go in asap and let us know!
You dont have to have bleeding to have an ectopic. My mom had one and the bleeding was inside. I would go back to the er and have them do an ultrasound.
Although I'm not bleeding? Could this be a miscarriage? I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative, I'm going to a clinic today to get another test done and possible ultrasound. I had been feeling so sick but woke up this morning with no nausea or sick feeling. Although I am not bleeding?
Ive had both and they should be doing hcg tests every 48 hours to check levels. Please go in asap as with an ectopic pregnancy, i had absolutely no symptoms of even being pregnant and almost bled to death, it happens differently everytime. Take care of yourself and go get checked and do not leave until you get your answers
I wld go to the ER bc if it is ectopic it can cause serious even life threatening problems
