Can anyone give me advice on what to do about acid reflux its so painful. Ftm

I too had bad acid reflux bad to the point I couldn't eat. My Dr prescribed over the counter meds prilosec or prevecid both work great. Good luck

I know I'm still early in my pregnancy but so far the best non med thing I've found I've strawberry milk. I know it works for me I'm not sure if it would for you but always worth a try

the diabetic diet helped me with heart burn. also not drinking with your meal is helpful too. tums are fine to take and even advised because you do need more calcium at the end of your pregnancy.

I do not like taking medicine because i do not think it is good for you, but I had heartburn so bad it was making me ill. The Dr. told me to take pepcid, and I did and I am soooo much better now. The heartburn should go away when the baby comes and then i hope to stop the pepcid. It was so bad I wasn't even eating. I figured that was worse then taking the pill twice a day. You can take the off brand version too.
