I just want to give you a huge HUG and let you know that we're all here for you. I just had a miscarriage on Nov. 20th (actually my second miscarriage) and it's not easy. I wish I had some magical words or the answer, but I don't.
HCG levels are supposed to double every 72 hours and the measurements are off by quite a bit. It can take 2 weeks for the cramping/bleeding to begin if you were to miscarry. I know your fear and worry and my heart truly goes out to you. PLEASE let us know the results tomorrow.
Thankyou for your message - it really did help!
Well i got the results yesterday, my hcg level has risen to 15,500.
My doctor has requested that i have another u/s which i have today at 4pm so hopefully i will get an answer as to what is happening:)
Im very sorry to hear about your miscarriage, it is very upsetting.
Please let us know how the ultrasound goes! Slow-rising HCG does not mean impending miscarriage. HCG can do some crazy things and my fingers are crossed for you!
It's not good news.
We still could not see a feotus, they did an internal scan and all that was there was a yolk sac. The lady said because i had a positive pregnancy test almost 3 weeks ago we should be able to see the feotus by now & that the size of the sac was less than 6 weeks, so i have to see my doctor again and it looks like i will need a d&c
Hugs...I'm so sorry to hear your news. Many of us here, including myself have been through this...feel free to reach out if you need to talk etc. Also, since you are soo early, I'd talk to your doctor about alternatives to d&c. They can insert pills vaginally to cause you to dilate and your uterus to contract out the tissues etc. My doctor did this because a d&c is invasive and surgical and can cause scar tissue which can not be so helpful in future pregnancies. Both are painful to be brutally honest. BUT anytime you don't have to go under anesthesia and have surgery it is usually better for your body. Best of luck!
i am soo sorry for your loss. i have been threw three and know how you fell. but dont ever give up hope. i have a beautiful baby well big girl now and the ladys here will help you more than anyone, really. because sometimes they are the only ones that have been thew what you have. just have hope and strength, we are all here for you.
Thank you for all your comments, i really appreciate them:)
I have my doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon so i will be sure to ask about alternatives to d&c.
Hi Ladies,
I had an appointment with the Dr 2 weeks ago and last sunday i went into hospital and the Dr inserted some pills to make me dilate & i stayed overnight and by lunchtime Monday everything was gone.
I feel kind of empty now, but am keeping positive that next year we have a successful pregnancy!
