Exercise before giving birth

I was just wondering if i could run when i turn 36 weeks. I want my baby out around 37-38 weeks normally according to my ob i can start exercising.. I had a risky pregnancy during my 1st trimester so i wasnt allowed to move or exercise so much.. Im planning on running and jumping rope. Is that safe? Sorry..im a second time mom but i was induced with my first and it took me 15 hours of labor so i wanted to make sure this one comes out easily..

As long as you're breathing normally and your heartrate doesn't get too high,  you should be fine.
Walking will help, squats, lunges, and riding a bike are some other exercises.

I went jogging at 35 wks... if u were alwaya active b4 birth u can continue ur exercising moderately through out ur pregnancy.  Dont over do it-the "rule" is "if u cant carry on a conversation while jogging/running-ur going to fast"...good luck
