Extra amniotic fluid

has anybody else been told this? And what does it really mean ?

My first baby was 8 pounds 3 oz. this is my second child

For me I don't have gestational diabetes or anything I just make big babies my first was 9 pounds 4ounces hope its the same for you.

Well she just said it was "a little high". I go back in two weeks so they can look again

Often associated with gestational diabetes. Was your anatomy survey normal. What was the numerical value of your AFI. AFI over 25cm is called polyhydramnios. Very often there is no valid explanation for polyhydramnios.

My fluid was at the high side but still normal was yours above normal?

I know some people may say that the baby may has a genetic problem or like mental problem but I know that's not it because we already did the test for Down syndrome and saw a specialist for it so that was ruled out. I hope that it's just because he's big !

I did and it just may make for a bigger baby my son is measuring 7 pounds 4 ounces at 35 weeks and estimated to be a 9 to 10 pound baby when born
