FED UP.

WHAT CAN I DO TO RELIEVE CONSTIPATION. I FEEL A RUMBLE IN MY TUMMY LIKE I HAVE TO GO REALLY BAD, GET IN THERE, AND NOTHING BUT AIR. PEOPLE HAVE WARNED ME ABOUT PUSHING OR STRAINING WHICH CAN LEAD TO HEMROIDS (NOT SURE OF SPELLING). BUT I'M PRETTY SURE NOT GOING AT ALL CAN'T BE GOOD. I JUST NEED RELIEF.

drink plenty of water, additional fiber: leafy green vegetables, fruits , raisins, cereal, prunes and i took docusate sodium (stool softener that is safe during pregnancy-its what i took) i would put flax or ground flax into my daughters baby food and it would help... thats something easy to try... sprinkle it on anything...

My sister would eat bran buds(1/3 cup) in her yogurt and that help-ed her and is very healthy.... doesnt taste as bad as bran buds sound lol

laxatives are not usually reccomended and should be discussed with your Dr before taking...

Dealing with this one myself.
Whole grains, especially stuff like brown rice, oatmeal and quinoa.  Lots of water and veggies. And a little chocolate might help too. :-)
