hcg levels

hi its now six weeks since my missed miscarriage, i was 6 weeks along and after a final scan and bleeding had stopped i have been ttc for 4 weeks. i have done numerous hpt over last week which are all positive, i have ended up having blood hcg test done yesterday and my level was 7600, midwife is convinced its a new pregnancy as its a high reading for it to be left over hcg from miscarriage, is this a high reading for so early in pregnancy because at the most i am only 4 weeks gone and to be 4 weeks i would have had to have conceived on 1st night of trying, having another blood test tomorrow to see how much levels have gone up in 48 hours, thanks for any info x

got my frist scan on 29 july, i am starting to worry about a molar pregnancy as i have read an arcticle on them,  fingers crossed all is well, i cant stand the not knowing, im trying to be positive but just keeping thinking it might be a molar, thanks guys, i will post back after my scan x

the high levels could be twons cause that tends to be common in them, but there is also the chance of molar preg too.  when is your first ultrasound scheudled for?

It sounds like a new pregnancy. Congratz. I miscarried on September 14th, 2007 and found out I was 4 weeks pregnant on October 15th, 2007 and now have a very healthy baby boy. It is very well possible to have concieved right after your miscarriage... I know I did... Best of Luck and keep us posted on what you find out...

high reading can be a molar pregnancy too...sorry to sound negative...hope its a new pregnancy but keep up on this and hopefully you'll get an u/s soon!  Good luck!

hi got the results of my secong bloog hcg test toady and its shot up to 13,000+  in 48 hours so its a defo a new pregnancy but midwife  said its a very high reading so i hope thats a good thing, just going to keep my fingers crossed that things go well x

After my m/c, I had retained tissue that kept producing HCG, which I needed to have removed again.  I got my levels checked each week, and they dropped each week, but eventually they stopped dropping, and I had to have a second D&C.  See what your levels do tomorrow, and maybe ask for an ultra sound.  I hope it is  a new pregnancy!

wow, that would be amazing if your were, not long to wait for your little bundle.  I think i moght be high but the numbers and range are so varied that it really is hard to tell. I would wait for the next  blood test results to find out more - good luck.
