IRREGULAR IN CONTOUR

My wife underwent scan today (37 Days) The Following is Result by

Last Menstrual Period 20-11-08     5 weeks 4 days Expected Date of Delivery: 27-8-2009
Bladder - Moderately Filled
Uterus - Retroverted Uterus
There is evidence of A single Gestational Sac in the Uterine Cavity
SAC is IRREGULAR IN CONTOUR
Yolk Sac is Imaged
Foetal Pole is no Identified at the Moment - ? Early Pregnancy
Sac measures 12.1mm  5 Weeks 0 Days
Both ovaries Images
No Free Fluid in POD

She is scared to hear the sac is irregular and she had bleeding in 30th day.So she decided to abort the foetus.But
the doctor advised to wait for 15 more days and go for another scan if we do not  hear any heartbeat you can abort.
Kindly suggest a solution ?

i agree she should wait the two weeks out and see what happens. is she is only 5 weeks along it would be to early to see a fetal pole. but that doesnt mean the worse. things could still turn out good for her. i wish you the best but have her wait it out and see whats going on there. good luck

I think it is wise to wait and see what happens! In two weeks you should definitely know what is going on. It could all very well be just fine. Your wife may regret aborting if there may be a chance that everything is okay. So just wait. It won't harm her to wait.
