TMI WARNING***

First off i'm sorry for the TMI but i am very very uncomfortable.  I have had this aweful pain on the outside of my
va-jay jay.  It hurts so much i'm waddling when i walk (more than ususal LOL).  My underwear was bothering it so much i put on Maxi pad  which helps a little.

What could be causing it?  and i'm pretty sure its swollen.
we havent bd'd or done anything to cause it.

has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do for relief??

i know what you mean about it hurting and being swollen i asked the doctor why it was swollen and she said that it was because as you get further along in your pregnancy and your babies head drops in your your pelvic area it puts alot of pressure down there where your vagina gets swollen...and hurts because your mucles down there are starting to prepare themselves for labor.

I think I can understand where you're coming from.
Around my 6th month my vajayjay started turning purple.
The doc told me it was because of extra blood flow down there, and that it should return to normal after the pregnancy.

Then around my 8th month, my ENTIRE package, lol, just started to poof up.
Like swell.
And it hurts to the touch.
The doc says it's because of extra fluids in your body, and that it should go down after the pregnancy.

So I just wear loose-fitting underwear on my bad days, and I make sure to blot after peeing.
Don't wipe, because it makes it worse. lol.

I also shave down there [[I'm 38w2d and it's a miracle that I still can. lol but it's because I've been doing it for so long, I don't really need to see anymore. And what I can't get on my own, hubby puts the finishing touches on. LOL]] and I can say that I still get sores here n there because I have very very fair skin. Tanned, but still fair and sensitive.
So I usually put medicated baby powder on after I shave to keep from moisture and what not causing more sores other than from razor burn.

Hope this helps. =/

lol  i wish i could shave down there.  i haven been able to see what i'm doing for weeks!!
No, i haven shaved in a while,  there are no sores just swollen from back to front.

its almost as if the whole area is chaffed (sp)

i might try the diaper rash cream just to keep it from chaffing any more

Not to be nosey...but do you shave down there? I had sores on my *hoo hoo* that were sore, itchy and swollen before. I had them tested and they were just sores from extra moisture and shaving.

You can use Vagisil anti itch cream or diaper rash cream if it is a sore.

Maybe you got bit by something?
