Feeling Discouraged. :(

Just got back from my appointment and I have only dialated 1/2 a cm in the past week. I'm 37+5 and at a 1 1/2 now. I spent all week bouncing, walking, squatting, etc. and that's all the progress I've made on dilation. I made my next appointment for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I'll be getting my membranes swept (38+6) but I still feel down, like she's never gonna come. These last few weeks are so hard. Anyways, for already mommies: how long after you got your membranes swept did you go into labor?

I feel like I have the complete opposite problem. I'm only 35 weeks and went to the doctor today and found out I'm 1/2 cm and 50% thinned. Well I wouldn't call it a problem cause I want my baby lol

Same, 37+5 today and got checked today but im not dialated or thinned out AT ALL. Its not supposed to mean anything, but then why does it feel dissapointing like you're gonna be pregnant for another nine months..

I didn't dilate until I was 39+3 so you should feel lucky. I'm not 40+1 and my princess is taking her sweet time coming. I have a Dr apt on Thursday to see how dilated I am.

Don't feel down mama! I was only at 1-1.5 cm at 39 weeks. So I'd say you're doing well!

I have the same feeling. Im 37 wks 4 days and im 0 dialated and only 30 percent thinned :(

At 37 weeks I wasn't dialated or thinned out at all, at 38 weeks I was 2cm dialated and 80-90% thinned out. I'm still waiting for this little boy to get here. 9 days til he is due.

My friend was not dialated or thinned out at just over 39 weeks and she went into labor 2 days later.

Another friend was 2cm dialated and 70÷ thinned out at 36 weeks and didn't change up to delivering in her 39th week.

Im 38weeks and only dilated 1cm and i feel like i wont open more:(

don't feel discouraged I made it to 39 weeks and didn't diolate at all. my dr induced me and started me on cervadil the night before to see if they could get me to diolate on my own and I only got 1/2 a cm.  I was in labor all the next day but my little prince came :) after 17 hours of hard work
