Femara

I am 31 yo and trying to have a baby for almost 2 years now. I have been on 3 rounds of clomid and was pregnant on 50mg but lost  my baby at 11 weeks. I have now been on Femara once and trying the second time uping my dose to 5mg. I ovulate fine on my own, but I am not producing large enough follicles. Is there something else I should be taking in conjuction w/Femera? We are currently using iui w/donor sperm.

That sounds like it should be good for you if you are ovulating on your own and aren't having any other problems.  I was on femara and avandia (for PCOS), and I had to have a trigger shot (because I don't ovulate on my own).  But I got pregnant on my second month of femara (with IUI).  And that was after 6 years of trying and being on clomid for a really long time.  So I really believe in femara!  I don't know for sure that that is what did it for us, but it certainly was a contributing factor.  I am now 20 weeks pregnant.  Good luck, and I hope it works for you!

I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry about your loss but this is one question I really don't know much about. If nobody else can help ya out on here try googling and see if that might help out. I just didn't wanna leave ya hanging. Goodluck. I'm TTC also on baby #2 been unsuccessful for 5 months now......
